Warehouse Labourer

Established in 1965, General Seed specializes in Forage, Turf, Cover Crops, and Silage Corn. Serving Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes, General Seed has seen massive growth and expansion over the past 20 years.
Duties:
- *Work is continuous, manual labour.*
- Perform various duties within the warehouse, including but not limited to: receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize inventory
- Utilize warehouse management system to track and locate products
- Build and assemble orders accurately and efficiently
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to perform repeated heavy lifting, up to 50lbs
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating warehouse equipment
- Experience in warehouse distribution preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with horticulture/farming is preferred

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

- Alberton, ON L0R 1A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (preferred)
